Cancellations

Cancellations can be frustrating for riders and drivers alike. In order to ensure that driver-partners are fairly compensated for their time when committing to a trip, we have ensured that a cancellation fee is in place.

How to avoid cancelling your ride?

Please ensure your pickup location is correct. Always double-check your pickup location on the map before confirming your trip. Pinning your location accurately will save time for both you and your driver. Do add notes for the driver, if necessary for easier pickup

When will a cancellation fee be charged?

For scheduled Rides/Quick Rides, a nominal cancellation fee will be charged in the following cases:

  • Cancelling the ride after the driver has been assigned: If you cancel the ride after a driver is assigned, you will be charged with the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will appear on the app under the payment details section.
  • Cancellation due to no-show: If the driver waits for a reasonable time period at the pickup location, you’re marked with a no-show and charged with the cancellation fee. A No-Show fee will also be charged if you don’t attend the ride.

For Rentals or Airport Transfer rides, a nominal cancellation fee will be charged in the following cases:

  • If the trip is cancelled at a reasonable time before the scheduled pickup time; or
  • If the driver’s wait time exceeds a reasonable time at the pickup location and you’re subsequently marked a no-show and charged the cancellation fee. A No-Show fee will also be charged in case you don’t show up for the ride.

How can you clear your cancellation fee?

The cancellation fee for a cancelled trip would appear as a pending payment to be cleared before you book your next trip. While booking a new ride, we provide you with an option to add the pending payment to their current ride fare and continue with the booking experience without much hindrance.

Refunds

What can you do if you were charged a cancellation fee/ride fee unfairly?

If you feel that you have been charged a cancellation fee/ride fee unfairly and due to factors beyond your control like the driver cancelling the trip or if you’re unable to connect to the driver, or the ride quality wasn't as per expectations, you could raise a concern to our support team through our app, call up our customer care at +91-9411091109 as well as through [email protected]

You’d be notified about the progress of your query via in-app and email notifications.

Alternatively, you can check the refund status through our app for the concerned trip.

Refunds generally take up to 5-7 days for completion to the source account.

Waiting Fee

Our driver-partners make every effort to arrive at your pickup location before the scheduled time. As a rider, it’s a good practice to be on time for a scheduled trip.

Moreover, an efficient dispatch enables us to give you a more cost-efficient & reliable ride. Towards this effort, riders will be charged a nominal waiting fee when the driver’s waiting time exceeds a predefined/reasonable time. Cahrges regarding waiting fee are clearly communicated for every ride.

How it works

For Quick Rides, Airport Transfers as well as Rentals:

  • Your driver-partner arrives at the pickup location. Once there, a push notification is sent to you communicating his / her arrival.
  • The driver-partner will wait for a certain time period from the original scheduled pickup time
  • If the ride doesn’t start within a reasonable time, waiting fee charges will kick in.
  • If after total wait time exceeds a reasonable time and the ride hasn’t started, you will be marked a no-show.
